The Summit is an annual event by All The Elements, Patagonia and HF Holidays for people and communities of colour to connect and collaborate on the shared goal of increasing representation in the outdoors space. I was asked to attend as a delegate being one of the only POC leaders within the adventure photography space. I was also commissioned to capture the 3 day event, with a keen focus on candid shots of other delegates partaking in the planned activities and discussions.

Their mission includes encouraging communication between different sectors and communities to celebrate and spark ideas, identifying shared barriers, and developing solutions together.

Patagonia is a renowned outdoor clothing company that focuses on creating high-performance gear for activities like hiking, climbing, skiing, and surfing. What sets Patagonia apart is its deep commitment to environmental sustainability, using eco-friendly materials and promoting fair labour practices. The company’s unique structure ensures that the only shareholder is the Earth, as its profits are reinvested into environmental initiatives and grassroots activism.
HF Holidays
HF Holidays is a UK-based cooperative offering guided and self-guided walking holidays across the UK, Europe, and worldwide. With over 100 years of experience, they specialize in outdoor adventures in destinations like the Lake District and the Canadian Rockies. As a cooperative, HF Holidays is community-driven, with a focus on creating meaningful experiences through shared outdoor activities.
